Taking care of you

About

About me

My goal at the PHYSIO experience is to reduce pain, restore your mobility, and enable you to return to full function and make sure your rehabilitation is effective, efficient, and stress-free, and you are involved in the decision-making processes at all times.

With over 20 years of experience working as a Physiotherapist I want to to offer you a really positive experience through your Physiotherapy journey, right from booking your initial appointment through to your discharge.

Over the years, I have learnt new and advanced evidence-based methods in order to offer you the highest standards of treatment and patient care.

I qualified at the University of the Witwatersrand in Johannesburg in 2000. Since then I have been living in the UK and have worked in private practice, and have supported a local rugby club and was the team leader for  England touch rugby.

I am a Master trainer  and fully certified Pilates instructor , in both

matwork and large equipment, at the APPI (Australian Physiotherapy & Pilates Institute), where I am involved in the education of other health professionals who are training to become certified Pilates instructors.

Clinical Pilates

Clinical Pilates is a form of exercises based on the original Pilates method designed by Joseph Pilates in the 20th Century. I utilise Pilates based rehabilitation in order to encourage pain-free, efficient movement, improve posture, strength and endurance and return to full function.

Western Acupuncture

Western acupuncture is the use of acupuncture following a medical diagnosis, and has shown to be effective in reducing pain and helping achieve greater function. It involves stimulating sensory nerves under the skin and in the muscles
