I am an APPI certified Pilates Instructor and Master trainer. I have been teaching Pilates to individuals as well as to other health professionals wishing to become Instructors for over 10 years.
My passion for Pilates began after I saw the benefits and improvement to posture, pain and movement efficiency personally after struggling with chronic back pain myself following a scoliosis as a child, which was corrected through bracing and exercise.
1:1 Pilates/Pilates Rehab
I offer Mat- and Reformer-based Pilates, both for rehabilitation and fitness. It is often used as an adjunct to Physiotherapy to strengthen the core muscles, improve posture, recess pain and improve movement patterns.
Alternatively, it can be used to improve fitness, tone muscles and improve strength and endurance and improve sporting performance
At present, the Pilates classes are being run virtually via zoom.
I am hoping to return to in-person classes soon!
Following an initial assessment and introducing the 5 key elements of Pilates and assessing for any injuries, you are then able to join classes from the comfort of your own home.
