Terms & Conditions
For Physiotherapy and Pilates services:
Cancellation Policy
Please note we operate a 24 hour cancellation policy. Reminder emails/texts will be sent if you have opted-in to receive these. However, it is your responsibility to note down your appointment time. Should you wish to cancel or reschedule appointment, we require at least 24 hours notice. Failure to do so will result in a late cancellation charge, which will be the full fee of the appointment at our self-funding rates.
Private Medical Insurance
I am currently registered with the following Healthcare Providers: AXA, WPA, Vitality, Aviva, Healix, Cigna.
Please ensure you have received pre-authorisation for your required treatment through your insurance provider, and have provided us with the membership and pre-authorisation numbers, including your name, address, date of birth and contact details, as well as the number of treatment sessions they will cover.

You will be responsible for settling the full amount at the time of your appointment, and will claim a refund from your insurance company. You will also be responsible for an excesses on your policy cover. Please note the 24hour cancellation policy stands, and you will be required to pay the full amount for an appointment you fail to attend or if you cancel or reschedule with less than 24 hours notice.

I am also registered as an AXA PPP provider and will bill them directly on your behalf. Please provide your AXA membership and pre-authorisation numbers prior to commencing treatment.
Direct Payments
Payments for treatments will be taken by cash or by credit/debit card on the premises at the time of your appointment. A full recepit can be emailed to you if you need to claim this back from your insurer.
Any outstanding charges on your account may mean that future appointments may need to be cancelled and treatment suspended until the fees have been paid.
Consent to Treatment
A new patient form will be completed prior to treatment, which gives you the opportunity to give written consent to treatment. You will not need to provide written consent prior to each treatment session, but verbal consent will be given at the start of each treatment session and recored on your patient record. We have a separate consent form for acupuncture.

We make very effort to ensure you understand your diagnosis and recommended treatment options that may be required. You can ask any questions and be actively involved in the decision making process of your treatment. You have the right to withdraw this consent at any time.

In order for the physiotherapist to assess you properly, they may need to see the affected area. We would suggest bringing a pair of shorts or a vest top to facilitate this. If you feel uncomfortable during the examination, you can bring someone with you or ask us to provide a chaperone to be present at the time of your assessment or treatment.

Following the assessment, the Physiotherapist will discuss their findings with you and decide on a course of treatment specifically tailored to your needs and goals.
Covid-19
In line with current guidance, you will be required to complete a Covid-19 check prior to each tretament session. We will be wearing PPE that is deemed appropriate at the current time and kindly request that you wear a mask during your treatment if you are able to do so.
